Acceptable Use Policy

1. PURPOSE

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules and expectations governing user conduct on StudyPlace.my. It supplements the Terms of Service and applies to all users, including parents, students, and any other persons with access to the Platform.

2. PROHIBITED CONTENT AND CONDUCT

2.1 Content Restrictions

You must not upload, post, transmit, or otherwise make available any content that:

• Is defamatory, abusive, harassing, hateful, or discriminatory on the basis of race, religion, gender, nationality, or any other protected characteristic;
• Is obscene, pornographic, or otherwise inappropriate for a student-facing educational platform;
• Infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party;
• Contains personal data of third parties without their consent;
• Is false, misleading, or deceptive;
• Promotes or facilitates academic dishonesty or cheating in official examinations.

2.2 Platform Abuse

You must not:

• Attempt to access or probe our systems or networks without authorisation (including penetration testing without written permission);
• Use automated scripts, bots, crawlers, or scrapers on the Platform;
• Introduce malware, viruses, trojans, or any other malicious code;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform or its associated infrastructure;
• Attempt to gain access to other users' accounts or data.

2.3 Account Sharing

Each account and any associated student profiles are for the exclusive use of the registered individual or family. You must not share your login credentials, subscription access, or purchased content with persons outside your registered household. Commercial resale of access is strictly prohibited.

3. CONSEQUENCES OF VIOLATION

Violation of this AUP may result in, at our sole discretion:

• Immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account without refund;
• Removal of offending content;
• Reporting to relevant law enforcement authorities;
• Civil legal action for damages and injunctive relief.

4. REPORTING VIOLATIONS

If you become aware of any content or conduct that you believe violates this AUP, please report it to us immediately at contact@studyplace.my. We will investigate and take appropriate action in accordance with our internal procedures.

5. AMENDMENTS

We reserve the right to update this AUP at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised AUP.
